Our reunion location is at Gasthof "Frankfurter Haus" in Neu-Isenburg

Message from Reinhold… “A time to make friends…”
This is the official German World Cup slogan for the Soccer World Championship in Germany this year. As you know, when you went with open eyes through CSLI, you have seen lots of sports related memorabilia, most of them soccer related. So, CSLI has a connection to soccer through their directors. Therefore, They will be in Germany during the World Cup tournament and I look forward to meeting them. It’s an opportunity for me to give something in return to Lori-Ann and Lawrence Keenan what I’ve got when I was at CSLI as a student, four times since 1998. My English improved each time(and this was the initial reason to come to CSLI), but what I admire the most is, they live up their slogan, “uniting the world with English”
Lori-Ann Lawrence welcome to Germany and Your former students look forward to meeting you in Neu-Isenburg(near Frankfurt) in June. Let me modify the FIFA sogan from “A time to make friends” to “A time to visit friends’ in Frankfurt, Germany.
Have a good flight and see you soon. |

| Bon Appetit! |
One of our most popular graduation parties ended our month of April – International Chef Day!
After saying goodbye to our graduating students and awarding medals for the best student in each class, the Student-of-the-Month award for the school was presented. The hard-working winner this month was Young Mi Lee (“Mia”) from Korea, who has made incredible improvements in her 4 months at CSLI through lots of extra homework.
Then came the feast! Students from a dozen countries prepared food and decorated tables with information about their homeland. This is the one time at CSLI that students are allowed to practice other languages, as they greeted one another and asked for food in the language of each table’s country.
Congratulations to the hosts of the Korean and Turkish tables, who tied for the Best Table Prize!

Theme Nights
There is always something on the menu on Thursday nights. In April, students had the opportunity to sample Korean, German, and Chinese food. May’s theme nights will feature food from Brazil, Japan, Vietnam, and Turkey. |

Spelling Contest
Our students tested their memory and knowledge of our alphabet with our great Spelling Contest in April. A great many students participated in a high-paced contest hosted by Mark Aaron.
The winner was Young Hye Lee from Korea, who was awarded with a CSLI gift pack – congratulations to Young Hye and all the participants! At the end of May we will be having our Pronunciation Contest, so get your mouths in shape!

| Busiest April Ever! |
This past April was our busiest one ever, with a record-breaking number of students from all over the world. We were delighted to welcome an enthusiastic group of over 40 students from Thailand. They were thrilled with their trip here, and wrote enthusiastically after their return that they “really love being in Canada!” Our summer season is almost full, so if you are thinking of coming, book soon to avoid disappointment!
Contact esl@csli.com for registration information. |

Easter Egg Hunt
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt took place in April, with students lining up before break time to get ready to find some of the hundreds of Easter Eggs hidden all over the school. The race was intense, and students sought to collect as many eggs as possible in order to win even more chocolate.
The winners were Tsiry from France and Arun from Thailand!

| Look Who’s Talking |
Hi Mark and Cynthia:
It was really nice to see you guys again in December. I can't believe it's been five months again. I've been busy and lazy at the same time that I never got the chance to send this picture to you guys. I just want to tell you guys how much I enjoyed being at your classes, and even though it was only a month back in 2001, it has always been in my mind and I will never forget it. School here is going to end soon and I'll go traveling to Orlando and San Francisco before I go back to Taiwan. I'd love to visit Vancouver again but I can't go there this time. Anyway, Vancouver is just like my second hometown so I'm sure I'll be back some day!
Love you guys and hope to see you again in the near future!
Best wishes!
Tony Chi
