Test Preparation
programs
- Test Preparation (TOEFL, TOEIC,
Cambridge)
 This
advanced level program assists students to prepare
for three common internationally accepted English
assessment tests: TOEFL, TOEIC,
and Cambridge. In addition to test-taking
strategies, the course covers important language points
and skills drawn from materials relating to the three
tests. Students will focus on improving their reading,
writing, speaking, structure, and listening to match
the specifications of these tests. Every other week,
students will have opportunities to write full length
practice exams to review their knowledge.
- 12-Week IELTS Preparation Program
This 12-week course is designed to help you get the ideal test results you need.
Lessons build on existing skills and develop areas of weakness in order to
ensure overall test success. Students who complete the
12-week programme can expect to see their IELTS score improve significantly.
Authentic course material ensures that students are
familiar with the test style and full-length practice
exams help to monitor ongoing progress.
- TOEIC Preparation
Prepare for this internationally accepted test by
working on rapid vocabulary acquisition and retention
techniques, reading comprehension skills, discrete
listening, error recognition, and grammar. Students
will have the opportunity to write the official
TOEIC exam once every month.
- iBT TOEFL Preparation
Prepare for the new iBT TOEFL test with this dynamic,
interactive program. Writing, reading, listening,
and speaking are practiced in this comprehensive
program.
This program allows students to practice and develop
all skill areas necessary for a successful TOEFL score.
The course is based on exercises designed specifically
for score improvement in the new "iBT",
the
Internet-Based TOEFL test. This test consists
of four sections: Speaking, Reading, Writing, and
Listening.
- Cambridge Exam Preparation
The Cambridge exam preparation programs for First
Certificate (FCE), Advanced English (CAE) and Cambridge
Proficiency (CPE) have been uniquely designed
to include all aspects of language acquisition and
exam preparation. Each week includes discussion, grammar
practice, short theme-based readings, listening practice,
vocabulary acquisition, focused writing assignments,
and help to familiarize students with the exam style
and techniques.
Each program is divided into two components; the first
component will use a variety of theme-based activities
with emphasis on speaking and vocabulary while the
majority of time in the second component will focus
on grammar, sentence structure, error recognition,
and writing. Students will also learn a variety of
strategies for purposeful reading, increased speed
and greater comprehension.
