Studying and enjoyment are a winning combination. CSLI recognizes the importance of social events to encourage students to use their language skills outside of the classroom. Break-time events including games, birthday celebrations, and special lunches are organized within the school. Every night, there are events like sports games, international theme nights, and parties so students can share in each other's cultures. Weekend tours to Whistler, Victoria, Seattle, and the Rockies are arranged while other exciting events like skydiving, whitewater rafting, and bungee-jumping are also available.
We believe that while you are studying there is time to enjoy extracurricular activities and have an unforgettable time with your classmates and teachers. CSLI offers the perfect combination of events to allow you to do so. Here is our list of special activities. |

All students are recognized in a special ceremony at the end of their studies. There are weekly graduation ceremonies to recognize students who will be leaving us before the end of the month; they receive their Certificate of Achievement in front of the whole school. At the end of the month, we have a graduation celebration attended by the entire student population. These ceremonies are centred on distinctive events, such as harbour boat cruises, park and beach barbecues, theme parties, nightclub celebrations, and seasonal carnivals. Graduation parties are always free.
Every break time is a unique opportunity to have fun. That is why our staff prepares many activities to help students relax, enjoy their free time, and meet students from others classes. Activities are diverse, including Trivial Pursuit, Bingo, charades, ping pong tournaments, billiards, chess, contests, and Olympic games.

Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon are the days to play sports. CSLI organizes soccer and tennis matches every week. You can develop your skills while you meet more students, speak English, and, of course, have a lot of fun.
Nobody can be quiet and shy on their birthday because the whole school celebrates with you! We sing "Happy Birthday" and give you a birthday treat to help make your Canadian birthday celebrations more special.
Special lunches are organized within the school every Wednesday. It's a good chance to try different meals, such as pizza, pasta, hot dogs, and Caesar salad, among others.
Every Thursday there is an occasion to know more about a different country and culture through its tasty traditional dishes eaten at an international restaurant! Every week, students from one country will find a great restaurant at which to host a dinner where students can sample that country's food. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about your classmates' customs and way of life.
