CSLI is a challenging school, and we recognize the students who work hard to meet the challenges of their studies. In addition to prizes for monthly contests that are focused on specific academic points, we have three awards that recognize not only students' improvements in class but also their participation in extracurricular activities and social events with their international classmates. Our three most important awards are the Student of the Class, Student of the Month, and Ambassador of the Year.

At our end-of-month graduation ceremony, teachers give prizes to the best student in their morning and afternoon classes. The student receives a Canadian prize that will remind them of their time in Vancouver and their success in class.

This is the highest student award, presented each month to the student with the greatest improvement in English, excellent attendance, completed assignments, enthusiastic participation in class, and the greatest commitment to helping other students.

The winner of the Student of the Month award receives an engraved trophy plus a free scholarship for four weeks of full-time classes at CSLI.
* The scholarship can be used within 2 years of receiving the award.
* Weeks can not be broken up in anyway and it is not transferable.

Student of the Month for April 2008 is
Gustavo Camara from Brazil.

This is an exclusive award offered to the individual who best promotes relations and understanding between their home country and Canada through their relationship with CSLI.

Ambassadors receive a commemorative plaque and a lifetime of free English study for themselves and their immediate family.
* Immediate family includes their spouse, siblings, children or parents
