CSLI operates its own homestay service to ensure that communication and relations between students and families are always at their best. We choose from an excellent selection of over 200 Canadian host families to find the one most suitable for you. Sometimes travel time may take about 30 minutes but these families are worth the extra time. Families that live downtown tend to have no children and live in apartments rather than houses, minimizing the size of your living space.
Our homestays have been selected for their interests, friendliness, safe neighborhoods, convenience to transportation, and comfortable homes. All homes offer you a private bedroom, three meals a day, shared TV, telephone, and laundry.

- Each family has its own house rules regarding smoking, alcohol consumption, student responsibilities, cleaning, security, noise, friends visiting, telephone use, meal times, etc. Discuss these with your family.
- Most Canadian families do not allow smoking in their homes. Some allow smoking outside the house. Please inform us if you smoke and check your booking before arriving.
- Please try to discuss any requests or problems you have with your family. Contact CSLI if you need assistance. Students are relocated if complaints are justifiable.
